We help ballet dancers in their everyday lives.
We associate ballet primarily with the stage, beautiful dancing, applause, and adoration from the audience—often we only see the end result. The life of a dancer also involves daily hard work, challenges, and obstacles.
The Dance To Be Foundation was established out of a need to support ballet dancers at various stages of their artistic journey.
We support dancers in difficult moments of their careers – financing rehabilitation, education, and everyday needs related to their work.

Our dancers:

Kristóf Szabó – principal dancer of the Polish National Ballet.
When he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, he stubbornly and relentlessly relearned how to work with his body and did everything he could to continue doing what he loves most. His artistic creations reveal his passion and great sensitivity. He can easily embody the character he is playing.
For many years, we have been helping Kristof in his struggle with the disease by financing some of the medical equipment necessary for him to safely perform his profession.

Zuzanna Kurzępa – soloist at Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz.
She began professional ballet training at the age of twelve. At that time, her main desire was to dance as much as possible in order to become as good at dancing as she could. Her teacher said at the time that she had never seen anyone make such progress in such a short time.
In 2022, we helped Zuzanna pay for her final year of study at the European Ballet School in Amsterdam. After graduating, she worked for a year and a half at Ballett Dortmund in Germany, and in 2025 she joined the ballet company of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz as a soloist.

Amelia Sikorska – student at the Krakow Academy of Dance L’art de la Danse.
She always gives her all in class and never gives up. She is extremely hard-working, eager to learn and improve. She is also a very sensitive young person who sees beauty in the world around her and in other people.
We have been accompanying her in her ballet development almost from the very beginning, helping to pay her ballet school tuition fees.
